Hello people!
The People’s Info Center is an infoshop dedicated to cultivating community connections through education, collaboration, and the visual and performing arts. Originally founded as the Women’s Information Center, People’s Info Center continues their legacy organization’s mission to host changemakers learning and imagining better futures in the historic Westcott neighborhood. Our mission is to nourish the thinkers and makers all around us.
Today, People’s Info Center’s building features a library, gallery, and gathering space for the community, where visitors can borrow books, zines, and other media; view screenings, performances, and exhibits; and book space for organizing, sharing, healing, and creating. In alignment with its mission, People’s Info Center prioritizes accessibility. The building has MERV-13 air filters and in every room and CO2 monitoring equipment available. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and the building is pending renovation for a wheelchair-accessible bathroom.
